I have one suggestion. Make the pole taller so it can be used on the ground too and still capture video at least around eye level standing. The stand as it is will be perfect for net situations when there is a wall to sit it on.
With the mini Ball head you are able to get the camera into the perfect position for optimal video recording.

First bought a nexus mount several years ago, it finally broke. So I purchased the new and improved version, I loved how much thicker the metal and mount its self was. I guess other people thought it was great to, so it got stolen at the first tournament I took it to. Purchasing another one now to replace it, because no other mount protects the phone like this and is so easy to hang on the fence when your already in a rush to get set before the game starts.
It was easy to connect to the chain link fence backstop. The GoPro I was using mounted on easily. I used it for two 8U baseball games in a row in the middle of the day in the Texas Summer and did not have any overheating issues, while two other people on the teams cameras and setup overheated in the first game.
I’ve tested quite a few mounts to live stream my daughter’s softball games, and nothing has come close to the Nexus mount. It’s incredibly sturdy, surprisingly durable, and effortless to attach to the fence—even when you’re juggling gear and trying to catch warmups.

This mount is the beast of all mounts. My phone was the only one that did not over heat in hot Kansas summers!! Easy to put up and take down. I’ve used it on a tripod when we cannot hang on the netting. The cover can be a little heavy depending on how tight the net is, but little bungee cords work great to help hold it up! The view is perfect for those who cannot attend in person. No net in the shot at all. Highly recommend it. Thank you for making a great product.
Light weight but sturdy. I’m using it for my iPhone to live stream high school baseball. Easy to attach my phone and power supply.
